Greetings sisters, brothers and friends,

This is to inform you that on September 25, 2018, K – 12 presidents from every local in B.C., except for the Abbotsford Teamsters Local, approved the framework agreement that was negotiated on June 11 & 12, 2018.

The approval is subject to ratification by the membership of each K – 12 public school Union Locals after Local bargaining has taken place. Your Local 409 Bargaining Committee is planning to present for your approval our Local proposals concepts at the October 13, 2018 general meeting. The meeting notice will follow later this week and a detailed verbal report of the Provincial Framework Agreement will be given at the meeting.
