LINDSAY TENNANT MEMORIAL BURSARY

INFORMATION SHEET

Selection Criteria:

This memorial bursary is in the amount of $500.00 with a reference to Lindsay Tennant. This bursary will GIVE PREFERENCE to a relation (son, daughter, foster child, grandchild, or sibling) of a CUPE 409 member.

• 􏰀  The recipient must be currently enrolled or has previously been enrolled in an alternate program in School District #40 (New Westminster)
• 􏰀  The recipient is to be in his/her graduating year (Grade 12).
• 􏰀  Complete application, and attach a cover letter to the Bursary Committee stating accomplishments and educational intentions.
• 􏰀  Should be registered in a program leading to a degree or diploma at an approved university, college or technical institute.
• 􏰀  Must register for further training during a period of not later than twelve months after the bursary is awarded
• 􏰀  Financial need will be a consideration.
• 􏰀  Written references from teachers and community members.
