PLEASE scan and send your filled out incident reports to:
- Us at the union, info@cupe409.ca
- Your supervisor (usually Vice Principal or Principal)
- Keep a copy for your records
Your supervisor should send the copy to Namira Alam, our SD40 Health and Safety Manager. Your site/school health and safety committee members can assist you. Reach out to your CUPE family if you have any health and safety concerns in your workplace. It is a Worksafe BC ACT requirement that a health and safety committee member and supervisor investigate your incident in a timely manner, usually within 48 hours. Your supervisor must find coverage for you in the event that you need to seek first aid and fill out an incident report. Communicate with your supervisor.
Remember, you have the right to refuse unsafe work.
